How to conduct School Complex Meeting Session wise discussion schedule

Badibata is an enrolment drive where schools with lower enrolment numbers conduct outreach activities in their respective villages to encourage children to join the school. In this session, teachers will discuss the enrollment drives held so far in their schools, sharing ideas and strategies to reach an enrollment target of 40 students per class. Teachers from schools with low enrolment are especially encouraged to plan and conduct Badibata drives in their communities.

Discussion On Vidya Pravesh Activities

This session aims to foster a healthy discussion on the best practices for conducting Vidya Pravesh. Teachers will share the challenges they have faced and the solutions they have implemented during Vidya Pravesh’s activities. This collaborative discussion will help teachers identify solutions for any issues encountered and plan for the upcoming month’s activities.

Teachers will also learn that integrating cognitive skills into classroom instruction allows students to engage with concepts authentically and apply their learning outside the classroom. The video will highlight the importance of cognitive skills in assessment, as students draw on these skills to answer test questions. The video will emphasize the need to align assessment with the cognitive skills outlined in the curriculum framework to accurately measure student competency.

The “Bloom’s taxonomy as a framework for cognitive skills” video module is designed to help teachers will learn about cognitive skills, the role of cognitive skills in assessment, Bloom’s taxonomy, and Bloom’s taxonomy for cognitive skills. By the end of this video, teachers will be able to recognize the role of cognitive skills in assessment, use Bloom’s taxonomy as a framework for cognitive skills, and define the cognitive skills within Bloom’s Taxonomy. By examining examples and exploring the continuum of cognitive processes, Teacher’s will develop a deeper understanding of how to apply cognitive skills in assessment design.

NIPUN Bharat, 2021

Another policy document of importance in the early years is the NIPUN Bharat Mission, launched in 2021. NIPUN stands for National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat). This is a national mission on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) that aims to ensure that every child in the country attains the same by the end of Grade 3, by 2026-27, focusing on children in the age group of 3-9 years.
