Kerala SET (State Eligibility Test) is a state-level examination conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology on behalf of the Government of Kerala. The Kerala SET Exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE.

About LBS Center
The LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, the premier institute of computer training and consultancy, was established in 1976 by the Government of Kerala under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific, and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955. The Centre was established as an autonomous body by the Government of Kerala with the primary goal of serving as a link between industries and technical institutions in order to benefit society through their mutual interactions.
A Governing Body and an Executive Committee govern the Centre. The Chairman of the Governing Body is the Chief Minister of Kerala, and the Vice-Chairman is the Minister of Education. The Chairman of the Executive Committee is the Principal Secretary for Higher Education. Vice-Chairman of the Committee is the Director of Technical Education. The Director of the Centre serves as the Member Secretary of both organisations. He is the Centre’s Executive Director. Kerala SET (State Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers, namely Paper I and Paper II. Both papers are conducted on the same day with a break in between. Here are the details of the Kerala SET exam pattern:

- No. of Questions: 120 (MCQs)

Candidates need to score a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and a minimum of 48% aggregate marks in both papers to qualify for the Kerala SET exam. However, candidates belonging to the reserved category need to score a minimum of 35% marks in each paper and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in both papers to qualify for the exam.
