The APPSC Group – 1 Prelims Exam Date  2024 has Been officially Announced by the AP Public Service Commission. The Exam will be held in  2024. The Prelims will consist of two papers, each with a weightage of 120 marks. A total of 120 Questions, Each worth one mark, will be asked; Aspirants should be Aware that the Exam Timetable will be printed on their Hall Ticket.

Selection Process For The APPSC Group 1 Exam 2024

The APPSC Group 1 Exam would be Divided into Three Stages. These Stages will Take place on various dates. The Group 1 prelims Exam will be Held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in all 13 District Centres Across Andhra Pradesh in December 2024. The Group 1 main examination is scheduled to take place in March or April 2024. All three stages are detailed below 

  • Preliminary Exam

  • Interview

  • The exam will be held offline in 13 cities across Andhra Pradesh.
  • The paper will be written in Telugu and English.
  • There will be two papers with a total of 120 objective questions in each.
  • The exam time limit for answering the maximum number of questions in each paper will be 120 minutes.
  • Paper I will include questions on History and Culture, Constitution and Politics, Social Justice and
  • International Relations, Indian and Andhra Pradesh Economy, and Planning and Geography.
  • Questions from General Mental Ability, Administrative and Psychological Abilities, Science and
  • Technologies, and Current Events of Regional, National, and International Importance will be asked in Paper II.
  • There will be a negative marking system in place, with 13 marks deducted for each incorrect response.

1)Visit the Public Service Commission of Andhra Pradesh  official website at https://psc.ap.gov.in/.

2) On the APPSC official website, look for the Notification option and Tap on it.

3) After Selecting the previously Mentioned option, you will be Presented with the option of Recruitment. Tap it to Activate it.

4) The APPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket 2023 option will be visible Here Tap on it.

5) At the End, you will be prompted to Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth. Fill in your login information and Click the Submit Button.
