ISRO Selection Procedure for Scientists and Engineers
The following is the selection process for ISRO Scientist / Engineer Recruitment:
The qualification specified for ISRO Scientist / Engineer Recruitment is the MANDATORY requirement, and it does not automatically qualify candidates for an interview.
The GATE Scores awarded will be used to Shortlist Candidates for interviews in a 1:7 ratio, rather than GATE marks or GATE Rank.
Technical (Academic) knowledge [40 marks], General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (technical) [20 marks], Presentation/Communication Skill [20 marks], Comprehension [10 marks], and Academic achievements [10 marks] will be used to evaluate candidates.
Candidates Must obtain a Minimum of 60 points in the interview, while PWBD Candidates Must obtain a minimum of 50 points.
GATE scores will be given 50% weightage and interview marks will be given 50% weightage in the generation of the final panel.
