AP Teacher Transfers 2025: Points for Service, Results & Categories
Subject: Priority Categories for Teacher Transfers – 2025 as per Proposed Guidelines
As per the proposed guidelines, the following categories are to be considered as priority cases for teacher transfers:
i. Employees with physical disabilities, i.e., those with 80% or more visual impairment / orthopedic disabilities / other severe physical challenges.
ii. Employees with up to 70% visual impairment / orthopedic disabilities / hearing impairment.
iii. Employees seeking transfer on medical grounds, including those who have undergone procedures such as hole in the heart Correction, heart surgeries, organ transplants, major neurosurgeries, bone tuberculosis, TB, kidney transplants, dialysis, and spinal surgeries.
iv. Employees with Dependent children or spouses who are fully mentally and/or physically challenged and are undergoing medical treatment.
v. Employees with Dependent children Suffering From Juvenile Diabetes, Thalassemia, Hemophilia, or Muscular Dystrophy and are undergoing continuous treatment.
vi. Dependent children born with congenital heart diseases (e.g., hole in the heart) and have undergone surgeries shall be treated as a priority category within three (3) years from the date of surgery.
3. The Government of Andhra Pradesh is set to initiate the AP Teachers Transfers – 2025 process, and detailed guidelines will be issued shortly.
4. Teachers seeking transfers on medical grounds are requested to obtain fresh medical certificates from the concerned District Medical Board.
5. In this regard, all Additional Directors/Superintendents of Medical Education are requested to make necessary arrangements to facilitate the teachers and headmasters in obtaining the health certificates during the period from 24.04.2025 to 26.04.2025 (3 days).
