The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference 2nd read above, wherein they were informed that during the present academic year, it is observed that the summer season has set in early. As a result, the School going students are suffering a lot due to prickly heat. In order to ensure health and safety of the students, teachers, etc., certain instructions were issued to advance the Half Day Schools to a week prior i.e. from 08.03.2016 instead of 16.03.2016 and requested them to take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
Further, they are informed that it has come to the notice of the Commissioner of School Education that certain private schools are not following the timings prescribed and functioning up to 6PM, which is irregular and violation of the instructions issued by the Commissioner of School Education vide proceeding dated 01.03.2016.
Hence, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to take necessary action and issue a show cause notice to the management of the private schools who are violating the instruction issued by the Commissioner of School Education vide Proceeding dated 01.03.2016 and submit compliance report on or before 15.04.2016.
