The Education Department of the Andhra Pradesh State Government will soon announce the details of the AP Model School Admission 2024 Notification. Candidates seeking admission to the sixth grade (English medium) in AP model schools throughout the AP State for the academic year 2024 are encouraged to apply. There will be no common entrance exam for AP Model Schools. Eligible and interested candidates may apply for APMS 2024 only through the official website’s online application form.

Name of the Exam: AP Model School Entrance Exams, Admissions for 6th Class

APMS Admission Eligibility Criteria:

1. The students should have studied continuously in the respective district for the two academic years (2021-22 and 2022-23) in a government school or in a school recognized by the Government.
2. The candidates can apply to any AP Model School of the district for which he/she belongs.
3. Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
4. Parents Income should not exceed Rupees One Lakh per Annum.

Age Limit:

OC / BC / SC-Converted Christians (BC-C) should have born between 01.09.2011 to 31.08.2013 and Students age should have between 10 to 12 years. For SC / ST students should have born between 01.09.2022 to 31.08.2024.

Application Fee Structure:

The Entrance Test/Registration Fee for SC/ST Students -Rs.50/- and OC/BC: Rs.100/-.

Mode of Entrance Test :

The Entrance test will be of objective type and multiple choice questions from Class 5th and the Question Paper have Four Parts.

Parts wise Marks :

Part-I: Telugu -25 marks
Part-II: Maths -25 marks
Part-III: EVS I and II-25 marks and
Part-IV: English -25 marks
Total Marks: 100 Marks
