1. Arithmetic Progression (AP)

nth Term of an AP:

$an=a+(n−1)⋅da_n = a + (n-1) \cdot d$

Where a = first term, d = common difference, n = number of terms.
Sum of First n Terms of an AP:

$Sn=n2×[2a+(n−1)d]S_n = \frac{n}{2} \times [2a + (n-1) d]$

Or

$Sn=n2×(a+l)S_n = \frac{n}{2} \times (a + l)$

Where l = last term.

2. Quadratic Equations

Standard Form:

$ax^2 + bx + c = 0$

Where a ≠ 0.
Quadratic Formula (Roots of the equation):

$\frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 – 4ac}}{2a}$
Discriminant (D):

$D = b^2 – 4ac$
- If D > 0, roots are real and distinct.
- If D = 0, roots are real and equal.
- If D < 0, roots are imaginary (not real).
