HPBOSE Recruitment 2022: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has issued a recruitment notification to fill the posts of Primary and Higher Secondary Teachers under the Department of School Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh. HPBOSE Recruitment 2022 Selection to the posts of Teacher is completely based on their performance in the written test and interview. Candidates who get a good score in the written test are only eligible to appear for an interview. Selected candidates should bring all the certificates in support of age, educational qualification, and experience for attending the interview process. Eligible and desirous candidates must apply through online mode from 10-06-2022 to 01-07-2022. Candidates can also have an option to apply through online mode from 02-07-2022 to 04-07-2022 with an applicable late fee of Rs. 300/-

HPTET Recruitment 2022 – Overview

Eligibility Criteria for HPBOSE Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification:

TGT (Non Medical):

Candidates must complete 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 50% or possess B.Ed. or relevant Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in elementary education.

TGT (Arts):

Candidates should complete 12th Class with minimum scores of 45% and have a Degree in B.A/ B.Com or any Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in elementary education.

TGT (Medical):

Candidates must complete 12th Class with a B.Sc. (Medical) or B.Ed. or Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institute.

Language/ Punjabi/ Urdu Teacher:

Candidates should complete B.A with B.Ed/ B.Sc with B.Ed or B.A with D.El.Ed from a recognized University/ Institute with the concerned subject knowledge.

JBT Teacher:

Candidates must have passed 12th class with 50% marks and a Degree/Diploma in elementary education with 50%.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates to the posts under HPTET Examination will be selected based on their performance in the written competitive examination and interview.

About Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education:

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its head-quarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 officials which has subsequently increased to 643. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board.
