DOST offers single window (DOST website https://DOST.cgg.gv.in) for seeking admission into any of the undergraduate programs in any of the state universities (Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana Universities). The process of admission is simple. It is student friendly and one can do it by himself/herself. Candidate must register himself/herself by visiting the website and logging in by the Intermediate Hall -ticket number.

DOST-2024 Admission Process for the students

Method-I:  If a student has already linked Aadhaar number with the mobile number, he/she can directly register in DOST Website with mobile OTP authentication. In case, his/her Aadhaar number is not seeded with mobile number, the students shall link his or his parent’s mobile number t the student’s Aadhaar at Aadhaar Update Centres.

Method-II:   The students visit Meeseva Centre fr biometric authentication and registration in DOST.

Method-III:  The TSBIE students can register in DOST through T App Filo mobile App based photo authentication.

How to exercise web options for DOST?

You can exercise your web options either from logging in from DOST url http://dost.cgg.gov.in or directly from payment statement window.
Once you are in payment statement window, you will see “web Options” link(s) enabled against the universities for which you made admission payments. (Rs.200/-).
Now click the link “Click here for web options” to exercise your web options.
You can exercise your web options by selecting your
(i) Choice of college and give web options for UG courses of your choice. ( or )
(ii) Choice of UG course and give web options for the colleges that are suitable for you.
Continue to give maximum number of web options.
Your options will be displayed in a table on the same web page.
You can also edit/delete your choice until the closure of the web options date as announced in the important dates in the DOST website.
Click on SUBMIT button to submit your web options.
To exit Click on LOGOUT button.

Check list for Degree Online Apply time:

For Intermediate Students of Telangana :
1. Your Intermediate Hall Ticket Number.
2. Your AADHAR Card Number.
3. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking facility to pay your admission fee.
4. Your recent passport size photo. (Scanned photo not more than 100 Kb.).
5. You need a valid mobile number.
6. Your Caste Certificate Number issued by MEESEVA (If applying under any reservation).
7. Your Income Certificate Number issued by MEESEVA on or after 1st April 2024. (Required if scholarships are claimed).
8. Sports, NCC, NSS, CAP and PH scanned certificate copies in case of availing admission under special category.

Students of other boards and other states:

1. Your qualifying (10+2 Level) examination Hall ticket Number.
2. Your AADHAR Card Number.
3. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking facility to pay your admission fee.

How to Apply DOST 2024 Step wise guidelines

Open http://dost.cgg.gov.in website.
You will find the home page with the six university logos and various instructions, information of Colleges, Courses etc.
Thoroughly read all the instructions on the home page such as Check List, Student Instructions and browse the Colleges and Course list .
Click on “Register” button for the registration process.
UG Online Admission Payment Form will appear. Please fill in the Student Details in the form.
After filling the UG Online Admission Payment Form click on Proceed to Payment button.
Payment gateway page will appear. Pay your online application fee using your Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking facility.
If payment is successful, you will see a message which looks like below.

” Your payment was Successful for Rs.200/- on DD/MM/2024…Your Transaction Id is XXXXXXXXXX and Acknowledgment no. for your application is: XXXXXXXXXXXX”

Registration on DOST is by paying a registration fee of Rs 200

• After the registration students will get DOST ID and PIN. The students are advised to keep their DOST ID and PIN carefully and confidentially till the end of the admission process.
• The students shall log in using DOST ID and PIN/password to open the Application Form.
• They must fill in the application form with all the correct details that are required (once the data is submitted it cannot be edited).
• Then they must exercise web options by choosing the course and college of their preference by giving the priority numbers. (One must be careful while giving college and course priorities as the seats will be allotted according to the priorities specified in the options.)
• The students are advised not to share DOST ID/PIN/Password with anybody to keep their options confidential.
• Seat allotment will be given to the students who exercised web options.
• Seats will be allotted based on the merit and reservations in force.
• If the students are satisfied with the seat allotted, they must confirm the seat by online self-reporting and pay the required confirmation fee online as per the payment mentioned below.
• The students who confirm their seat (in any phase) by online self-reporting must visit the allotted college in person from 18.08.2024 to 21.08.2024 and submit the required certificates and pay fee, then only your seat is confirmed.
• If the student is not satisfied with the seat secured, he can pay fee (online payment) for the reservation of the seat and then, go for web options once again in the second and third phases.
