After finding a fellowship
Once you’ve found a fellowship that interests you, go to the Current Fulbright Fellows page to learn about recently successful proposals. We also recommend that you speak with Fulbright and other alumni about their experiences in the US. Staff at USIEF and our Alumni page can put you in touch with people in your field who will gladly answer your questions.
Selection committees seek talented individuals with projects that are relevant to India and the United States. The committees are looking for candidates who have the potential to be effective cultural ambassadors.
