National Entrance Test for SHRESHTA 2025 \ SHRESHTA NETS 2025 Apply online at https://shreshta.nta.nic.in/ only during the period between 15.04.2025 to 05.05.2025 (up to 5 PM). Date of exam: 01st June 2025.
The Scheme for Residential Education for kids in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) offers high-quality education to deserving Scheduled Castes (SCs) kids only at CBSE-affiliated reputable residential institutions. The Central Government would grant around 3,000 places in classes 9th and 11th, fully subsidised.

National Entrance Test for SHRESHTA (NETS) 2025

Examination Details:
The entrance exam will be conducted across all States and Union Territories.
Medium of the exam: English and Hindi
Purpose: Admission into online educational courses under the SHRESHTA scheme.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
Students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
Must be studying in Class 8 or Class 10 during the academic year 2024–25.
Parent’s annual income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakhs.
️ Application Process:
Eligible SC students can register online through the official portal: https://shreshta.nta.nic.in
No application fee will be charged.
The portal will remain open from 11:00 AM on 15th April 2025 to 5th May 2025.
Result & Admission:
The results will be published on the official NTA website.
Web counselling will be conducted for admission into SHRESHTA institutions based on merit.
