Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana – Philately Scholarship  scheme launch on Sept 15- 2023

Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana 2023 (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude & Research in Stamps as a Hobby) was introduced by the Department of Post on  15th September, 2023. (tentative). Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana

Scholarships will be given to class VI to IX students who have strong academic records and enjoy collecting stamps. For chosen students, a scholarship worth Rs 6000/- per year at Rs 500/- per month would be awarded. Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana

Candidates for the scholarship will be chosen using two procedures.

• Philately Written Quiz
• Philately Project
• Candidates selected in the Philately Quiz will be eligible to participate in Philately Project. The activities for the Maharashtra Circle in Mumbai are scheduled for the years 2023–2024.

Eligibility for Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana Scholarship

The Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana scholarship programme is open to students in classes VI through IX. Before participating the competition, they need make sure they satisfy all the requirements. The following are the requirements for Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana scholarship Eligibility:

• The Candidates must be enrolled in regular classes at an Indian school that has government approval.
• There should be a philately club at the candidate’s school, and he or she should participate actively in the club.
• They should remember the day they applied to join or open an account with their school’s philately club.
• The candidates should have a philately deposit account if the school does not have one.
• The candidates ought to have a stellar academic history.

The results will be announced by the authorities on the website for the relevant postal circle. The project work that the pupils have submitted will be evaluated by the authorities.

Within 15 days of the written exam, The post Office Circles will Announce the list of project themes while Sending out the Notifications. These Topics are Available to Applicants Through the Relevant Divisional Office. They must select a subject from the list and create a project Around it. The following are some Guidelines for the philately project.

• The project shouldn’t exceed 500 people.
• It shouldn’t be more than 4-5 pages.
• There shouldn’t be more than 16 stamps on it.
• Within 15 days following the announcement of the Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana quiz results, the students must turn in their project.
