1. The Government hereby constitute the A.P. State Haj Committee under the provisions of Section 18(1) of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (No.35 of 2002), with the following Members:-

Sub-Clause – I (MLA/MLC)

1. Mohammed Ahmed Shariff, Narasapuram, West Godavari District MLC – Member

Sub-Clause – II (Local Bodies)

1. Sheik Masthan Shariff, Pedakurapadu, Guntur District ZPTC – Member
2.T. Mahaboob Sab Nailacheruvu, Kadiri,Anantapur Dist. MPP – Member
3.Sheik Akbar Basha, Rompicharla, Guntur District Vice MPP – Member

2. Under the provisions of Sections (18) & (19) of the Haj Committee Act, 2002, the following Notification shall be published in the Extraordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh dated: 16th March, 2016.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred Under Sub-clauses (i) to (vi) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 18 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (No.35 of 2002), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby constitutes the Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee with the following Members:-Sarvasri

3. The term of the Office of the Members of the Haj Committee (other than Ex-Officio Member) shall be (3) three years commencing from the day following the publication of the list of Members in the A.P. Gazette.

4. The Committee constituted in Para (1) above, shall work under the administrative control of the Minorities Welfare Department. The functions and duties etc., of the Committee shall be as laid down in the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (No.35 of 2002) and Rules, if any.
