Guidelines for Filling up the Vacancies of Teaching Faculty in DIETs
The recruitment process for teaching faculty in District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) will be conducted online. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through a designated Google form, which will be forwarded to the respective DIET Principals via the District Educational Officers (DEOs). Examination centers will be set up, and candidates will be informed about their eligibility and test details by the DEOs.
Procedure for Submission of Application:
Applications must be submitted online via the provided Google form.
Candidates should ensure that all necessary details and documents are attached before submission.
The completed form must be submitted to the concerned DIET Principal through the respective DEOs.
After submission, candidates will receive updates regarding the examination and interview schedule.

Eligible candidates and Qualifications for the selection of Posts in DIETs:
The posts of Senior Lecturers/Lecturers in the DIETs are filled as per the NCTE norms only. Any deviations in the matter should be viewed seriously, and necessary action will be initiated as per the rules in the force.
The criteria for screening applicants under each position are based on the Eligibility conditions and qualifications as mentioned below.
a. The age of the applicant shall not exceed 58 years as on 31.03.2025.
b. School Assistants/Headmasters/ Mandal Educational Officers working in Govt / Zilla Parishad/ Municipal managements having a minimum of 5 years of service in the School Assistant cadre are eligible for the position of Lecturers.
c. Headmaster’s/ Mandal Educational Officers working in the Govt / Zilla Parishad/ Municipal managements are eligible for the position of Sr. Lecturers. In case the above candidates are not available, Sr. Lecturer post
will be filled with the School Assistant cadre.
d. The applicant should possess the required qualifications as per the post (NCTE norms) i.e. Master’s degree in the subject concerned with 55% and M.Ed. with 55% of marks.
Pattern of test:
Recruitment process consists of five test sessions, Each Covering Specific Subjects for Different Positions in DIETs. The Details of the sessions and Corresponding Tests are as Follows:

General Instructions for DIET Faculty Recruitment 2025
Eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Senior Lecturers and Lecturers, Teachers Action Plans in the DIETs of All districts must to the following guidelines:
Only School Assistants, Headmasters, and Mandal Educational Officers from Govt./Zilla Parishad/Municipal management schools in the respective districts are eligible to apply.
Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) and Language Pandits Grade-II are not eligible for deputation in DIETs under any circumstances.
The District Educational Officers (DEOs) must submit the final selection list to the Commissioner of School Education (CSE), A.P., for approval.
Selected candidates will work on deputation under foreign service terms and conditions for an initial period of one year, as per G.O(P) No. 10, Finance and Planning Dept., dated 22.01.1993.
The deputation period will be one year or until the vacancy is filled by direct recruitment, whichever is earlier.
Candidates may apply for multiple posts in a single application, provided they meet the required qualifications.
The application must be submitted along with supporting documents and credentials.
Applicants with disciplinary or criminal cases pending against them are not eligible to apply.
Candidates currently working in DIETs on deputation will be ineligible to reapply if:
They have completed three years of service in DIETs.
They have not completed three years of service, as per Rule 5, sub-rule (iv) of G.O. Ms. No.2, Finance (FR.II) Dept., dated 02.01.2010.
The application process must follow the proper channel:
School Assistants must apply through their respective Headmasters or MEOs.
Headmasters/Mandal Educational Officers must apply through the Deputy Educational Officer (Dy.E.O.).
