AP Commissionerate at Vijayawada Police jobs 471 Posts Sanction Notification

ORDER:

1. The Home Department has informed that the Director General of Police, A.P. Hyderabad in the reference first read above, has stated thatafter bifurcation of State of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada city has gained prominence. The camp office of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is established in Vijayawada City. A Number of VVIPs / VIPs including Ministers are camping in the Vijayawada city. All the major wings of the State Government are in the process of establishing their offices in Vijayawada city. The present structure of the Vijayawada Police Commissionerate is unable to cope up with sudden increase in the load and the policing on ground is suffering because of the lack of supervision and engagement of the police forces in bandobust related duties.
2. The Home Department has further informed that the Director General of Police, AP., Hyderabad, has sent proposals for creation of (471) posts for strengthening of Police Commissionerate at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh for Re-organization of Zones, Establishment of 2 Traffic Police Stations, Cyber Crime Police Station, Strengthening of CSB, Commissioner Task Force (AGS), PCR and Supervisory Officers in Vijayawada City.
3. The Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby accord sanction for creation of the following (471) posts forstrengthening of Police Commissionerate at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
