Andhra Pradesh , Home Department , The Government of A.P. has announced “Amaravati” as the Capital City for the Residuary State of A.P., Vijayawada City is being very important city of the Residuary State of Andhra Pradesh, it became central point of political, public and other activities. Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby accord sanction for creation of the following (583) posts for strengthening of City Security Wing at Vijayawada City, Andhra Pradesh.

1. Rc.No.39/Plg-4/2014, dated: 11.09.2015 from the Director General of Police, A.P. Hyderabad.
2. Home Department’s U.O.No.0728/Ser.II/A1/2015, dated:16.12.2015.

ORDER:

1. The Home Department has informed that the Director General of Police, A.P. Hyderabad in the reference first read above, has stated that increased security needs of VVIPs / VIPs in the proposed Capital of the Residuary State of Andhra Pradesh there is an urgent need to strengthen the City Security Wing of Vijayawada City by creating additional posts and sanctioning basic minimum infrastructure to facilitate the Vijayawada City Police to provide effective security to the VVIPs / VIPs. The Government of A.P. has announced “Amaravati” as the Capital City for the Residuary State of A.P., Vijayawada City is being very important city of the Residuary State of Andhra Pradesh, it became central point of political, public and other activities. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and VIPs including the Hon’ble Ministers of Government of India are making frequent visits to Vijayawada. For this purpose, the City Security Wing of Vijayawada City has to make fool-proof security and other related arrangements including conducting Advance Security Checks (ASC) at the places, where the VIPs / VVIPs are likely to visit utilizing the services of the sniffer dogs etc.

2. The Home Department has further informed that the Director General of Police, AP., Hyderabad, has sent proposals for creation of (583) posts for strengthening of City Security Wing at Vijayawada City, Andhra Pradesh.

3. The Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby accord sanction for creation of the following (583) posts for strengthening of City Security Wing at Vijayawada City, Andhra Pradesh.
