Eligibility Criteria of IARI Recruitment 2022
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who are pursuing Post Graduation Degree in Zoology/ Entomology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University/ Institute are only eligible to apply.
Experience:
Candidates with research experience in reproductive physiology of insects and knowledge of molecular biology tools with data analysis will be preferred.
Pay Scale for IARI Recruitment 2022:
Selected candidates will get pay on an average of around Rs. 5,000/- PM by the recruiting organization.

No fee need to be paid by the candidates for applying to the posts of Lab Assistant.
Selection Process for IARI Recruitment 2022:
Selection to the posts of Student Intern notified in the IARI Recruitment 2022 is completely based on their performance in the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted to the selection process depending on their marks in the qualifying examination.
How to Apply for IARI Recruitment 2022?
Interested and Eligible candidates should download the format available in the Official Notification PDF. Fill all the particulars in the application form at the appropriate places. Duly attest a recent passport size photograph at the column prescribed. Send the necessary enclosures of xerox copies of certificates along with the application form on or before the last date of submission of application form, i.e. 22-06-2022. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

(i) The internships are only for duration of two months and will end after completion of two months from the date of joining. No any other claim will be made by the student.
(ii) Shortlisted students will be called for an online interview
(iii) Once selected the student has to provide No Objection Certificate from their present institute to be able to attend the Lab activities for a period of two months.
(iv) The selected student has to make their own arrangements for attending day to day activities at designated Labs at IARI. No TA, DA will be provided for the same.
About Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI):
The journey of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute, began in 1905 at Pusa (Bihar) with the generous grant of 30,000 pounds from an American philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps. The institute was then known as Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) which functioned with five departments, namely Agriculture, Cattle Breeding, Chemistry, Economic Botany and Mycology. Bacteriology unit was added in 1907. The name of ARI was changed to Imperial Institute of Agricultural Research in 1911 and, in 1919 it was renamed as Imperial Agricultural Research Institute. Following a devastating earth quake on 15th January 1934, the institute was shifted to Delhi on 29th July 1936. Post independence, the institute has been renamed as Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).
During the fifties, the advancement of scientific disciplines constituted the core program of IARI and provided the base for its fast expansion in the 1960’s and 1970’s. It attained the status of a Deemed University in the year 1958. The green revolution that brought smiles to millions of Indians bloomed from the fields of IARI with the development of famous wheat varieties which contributed an estimated on billion tones of addition production. As the Mother of several ICAR institutions, IARI continues to be the leading institution for agricultural research, education and extension in the country.
