School Profile Entry Guidelines

Section 1A: Basic School Information

Begin by clicking the Data Capture Format (DCF) links (1.1 to 1.3) to enter core school details. This includes : UDISE + Profile & Facility and Teacher Module Data Entry Guide

Imoprtant Temples & Places

  • School location

  • Type of management (Government, Private, Aided, etc.)

  • Medium of instruction (English, Hindi, Telugu, etc.)

Ensure all mandatory fields are filled. Once completed, click “Save & Next” to proceed.

Textbooks and Learning Materials

Class-wise entry (from Pre-Primary to Higher Secondary) is required for:

  • Distribution of free textbooks

  • Availability of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM)

  • Distribution of uniforms (mention the month of distribution, e.g., May 2025)

  • Provision of play materials

Section 1B: Additional School Details

Provide further information such as:

  • School type (Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary)

  • Affiliation board (e.g., State Board, CBSE, ICSE)

  • Year of establishment

  • Details of the responding official or headmaster

Save data after completing each subsection.

Anganwadi, SMC/SMDC & Other Facilities

Enter relevant data regarding:

  • Attached Anganwadi centres

  • Formation and details of the School Management Committee (SMC) or School Management and Development Committee (SMDC)

  • Other key infrastructure or support facilities available

School Safety & Financial Details

Provide:

  • Status of school safety measures, including State School Standard Authority (SSSA) certification

  • Grants received and expenditure details, particularly for government-aided institutions

Digital Initiatives & Physical Facilities

Classrooms: Provide information about the school’s structure, including the number and state of its classrooms, its boundary wall, and its water and electrical systems.
Toilets: Describe the availability, operation, handwashing stations, and sources of drinking water (such as rainwater harvesting and purifier/RO).
Additional Facilities: Provide information regarding the kitchen garden, library, playground, medical records, first aid, and ramps for kids with disabilities.
ICT & Digital Initiatives: Provide details regarding e-books, digital libraries, internet access, computers, and ICT laboratories.

Adding Information About the Staff

Teaching Staff:

  • Click “Add Teaching Staff” and fill in the following information: name, gender, date of birth, Aadhaar number (required for new entries), staff code (if available), social category, educational and professional background, email address, and mobile number.
  • Indicate the types of appointments (contract or regular), the courses studied (e.g., English, mathematics), and the joining dates.
  • Include appointment information (class taught, primary subjects, etc.) and training information (e.g., NISHTHA training, cyber safety training, or training for children with special needs).
  • Verify the information, click “Save & Next,” and make any necessary updates.

Non-Teaching Staff:

  • Click “Add Non-Teaching Staff” and enter similar details (name, gender, Aadhaar, etc.).
  • Select the current post from the dropdown and click “Update.”

VTP Employees

Enter your name, credentials, and the industry you were hired in (such as IT or agriculture) after clicking “Add VTP Staff.”
Enter the lessons taught and the state of the induction training, then save.
