Students Caste Religion Not Mention in Attendance Register Check 2025 – Instructions Released : విద్యార్థుల హాజరు పట్టీ లో CASTE, RELIGION ను mention చేయకుండా కేవలం విద్యార్థుల పేర్లను మాత్రమే రాయాలని పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ డైరెక్టర్ మస్తానయ్య గారి సూచనలు. The attention of the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and Đistrict Educational Officers in the State are invited to the subject cited and informed that, it is brought to the notice of the Director of School Education that, in some schools the details of students’ caste and religion are mentioned and girl students names are being written in red ink in attendand gisters.

AP School Education Director Mastanayya Gary directed to write only the names of the students in the attendance list without mentioning about Caste, Religion. In this context, all the under mentioned officers are hereby reque to issue instructions to the filed level functionaries not to mention the student in attendance regis and maintain the attendance register in an uniform manner in the matter.

Note Regarding Student Records in Attendance Registers

It is observed that students’ caste and religion details are not to be mentioned in the school attendance registers.

✅ This is in accordance with the principles of maintaining equality, inclusiveness, and privacy in educational institutions.
✅ All student records should be maintained with name, class, admission number, and attendance only.

 Any indication of caste or religious identity must be avoided to uphold the secular and non-discriminatory ethos of the education system.
