When it Comes to the Mid-Day Meal Menu in inter Colleges.. On
Monday, Boiled chicken egg, chickpeas, rice, green gram are served.
On Tuesday, Rice, Chicken Egg curry, lentils, Rasam, Ragi java are served.
On Wednesday, boiled chicken egg, chickpeas, veg pulao, and aloo kurma are served.
On Thursday, Rice, sambar, ragi java, and Chicken egg curry are on the menu.
On Friday, Chutney Made with pulihora, Gongura/ vegetables, Boiled Chicken egg, Chickpeas are served.
On Saturday, Rice, Rasam, pongal Sweet, and veg curry are served.
All of the State’s District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Directors of School Education are hereby notified that, as stated in the first read above, the government has granted administrative approval for the implementation of the Mid-Day Meals Program, which will benefit all students enrolled in the first and second years of intermediate courses at 475 Government Junior Colleges. The program’s goal is to improve students’ overall Health, Education, and Nutrition.
Accordingly, all Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers throughout the state have received comprehensive instructions in the Reference 2nd referenced to guarantee the execution of the Mid-Day Meal program at all Government Junior Colleges starting on January 4, 2025.Since then, a lot of requests have been made to Establish midday meals for students enrolled in high school plus institutions and day scholars in intermediate Courses at A.P. Model Schools, which would put them on level with students at Government Jr. Colleges.
The Mid -Day Meal Scheme for Inter students across Andhra Pradesh has been launched.
The AP government is also implementing the Dokka Sitamma Lunch Scheme for Inter students studying in Government Junior Colleges. The scheme came into effect from Saturday (January 4) across the state. AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh launched a lunch scheme for Inter students at Government Junior College at Payakapuram Payakapuram. The AP government will spend Rs.27.39 crore this year on this scheme. Similarly, Rs 85.84 crore has been allocated for the next academic year.
The Scheme will provide lunch to 1,48,419 students studying intermediate in 475 government junior colleges across the AP. Of these 475 Government junior colleges, 398 colleges are connected to nearby schools. Inter College Students also have Meals in schools. Set up centralized kitchens for everything else
