INSPIRE MANAK Nominations Registration Guidelines 2025-2026. All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Ofcers in the State are invited to the Reference Read above and they are informed that INSPIRE – MANAK Scheme is a fagship program implemented with a basic objective to instill Creative / Innovative Thinking Among school students in the age Group of 10th-15th years and Studying in class 6th-10th. About the MANAK Scheme

The INSPIRE – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) Scheme, launched by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), aims to ignite creativity and innovation among students in middle and high schools across India. The goal is to collect one Million original and innovative ideas that have the potential to address Societal Challenges and contribute to nation-building.

Shool Nomination Guidelines

All Registered schools Under the INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme are eligible to Nominate up to 5 of their best student ideas through the official online platform. These nominations should be original, Student-driven concepts Focused on solving Real-world problems with innovative solutions.

Instructions to Education Officials

The Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers (DEOs) across the state are instructed to:

  1. Disseminate information about the INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme to all schools under their jurisdiction.

  2. Ensure timely nominations by schools well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues caused by high traffic on the portal.

  3. Encourage science teachers to mentor and guide students in refining and submitting innovative ideas.

  4. Instruct District Science Officers to monitor and maximize participation from their respective districts.

Here is a Step-by-Step overview:

  1. School Registration (if not Already Done).

  2. Idea Nomination of 1–5 best original ideas.

  3. Online Evaluation by district/state panel.

  4. Financial Award to selected students (₹10,000 each).

  5. Prototype Development.

  6. Exhibition Participation (DLEPC ➝ SLEPC ➝ NLEPC).

  7. Mentorship and Patenting (For Top National-level Entries).
