The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers in the state are invited to the reference read above (copy enclosed) wherein Scientist G & Head (INSPIRE MANAK), Government of India, Ministry Of Science and Technology, Technology Bhavan, New Mehrauli Road, New Delhi-110016 has informed that INSPIRE-MANAK-DST and Intel Technology India Private limited have come to implement a collaborative program under the name “Building AI Readiness among young Innovator” for MANAK awardees of 2023-24 and 2023-24.

INSPIRE – MANAK Awardes Artificial Intelligence (AI) Readiness Program Complete Details

PROGRAM BRIEF: Welcome all to Building AI Readiness among Young Innovators’ program, that reaches out to students enrolled under INSPIRE Awards – MANAK scheme, of classes 6th to 10th PAN India a collaborative initiative of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India and Intel India with an aim to reduce the digital skills gap among youth of the country and empower them with relevant AI skill sets in an inclusive manner.

As the name suggests, this program aims to empower the youth to become AI-ready. But before we start talking about this program in detail, let us first understand the objective of this initiative:

The key objectives are:

• Demystify AI for youth enrolled under the INSPIRE Awards – MANAK scheme in an inclusive manner
• To democratize access to the required AI tools and learning resources.
• To enable youth to create meaningful social impact solutions as evidence of achievement.

Key Features:

The Program will be open to students enrolled under the INSPIRE Awards – MANAK scheme, of classes 6th to 10th PAN India.

It will be implemented in Three Phases:

In Phase I – Students will undergo orientation and online Training Sessions leading to Submission of ideas by students in an online format as a video

In Phase II – Top 200 Students will be Shortlisted and These Students will Begin their Deep dive AI journey Through Bootcamps. Post the Sessions, Students will Rework on their ideas and Submit a Final Project video on the program website. Top 50 projects will get Shortlisted Post Evaluation by an expert jury.

In Phase III – In the Final Stage, Top 50 AI Innovations will be Announced as winners. They will be invited for Mega National showcase & will be awarded for their exemplary work.

Please Note: All tools, materials and logistics for boot camps and the national showcase will be taken care of by the organizers.

REGISTER – STEP 2: You will be Redirected to Student Registration Form. Fill up the details as asked.

REGISTER – STEP 3: Once you Finish filling up all the Details, Recheck it and then click on “Register”.

LOG IN – STEP 1

• Upon successful registration, you will land on the Student Login screen as shown in the image here.
• Enter the registered email address and password for the portal.
• Then, click on “Login”.

STUDENT DASHBOARD

• Congratulations! You have successfully registered for ‘Building AI Readiness among Young Innovators’
• Your dashboard will look like the reference image as shown here.

ONLINE ORIENTATION – STEP 1

• Details of Online Orientation sessions will be displayed under Phase 1 as shown below.
• Keep checking your student dashboard to get informed about the Online Orientation sessions.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION- STEP 2

Once you Attend both the orientation Sessions, you will be Eligible to Download your Certificate of Participation as shown in the reference image below.

IDEA SUBMISSION – STEP 3.1

Click on “SUBMIT IDEA ”Button in Step 3.

• Enter the details as required in the Idea Submission form
• Note that, once you click “Submit”, you will not be able to edit your idea entry.

DEEP DIVE AI TRAINING- STEP 4

Top 200 Students will be Shortlisted for deep-dive AI training conducted by Certified Intel AI coaches and experts for shaping your idea into a reality. Further details about Phase 2 will be updated as per the schedule.

CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION – STEP 5

Upon successful project submission, your certificate of Appreciation will be unlocked. Once you click on “Download Certificate” as shown below, a digital certificate will be automatically downloaded onto your phone or personal computer.

Answer: A smartphone or computer with good internet connectivity will be good to go along with an interest to learn something new.

Answer: This is a National level program and you will get an opportunity to showcase your talent and potential at the highest level. Exposure to learn AI from experts and getting a platform to share and collaborate with students of your age-group from across India would be some added advantages along with receiving certificates at various levels.

Question 3: What is Building AI Readiness Among Your Innovators?

Answer: The program aims to build an AI-ready generation and the INSPIRE – MANAK students with knowledge of AI technology and social skills in an inclusive manner. The program intends to demystify AI for the youth of our country and empower them with an appropriate new age tech mind-set, relevant skill sets and access to required toolsets to make them digitally ready for the future.

Question 4: Who can participate in this National program?

Answer: All the students registered for the INSPIRE awards-MANAK scheme, studying in classes 6 to 10 from any State/UT of India are eligible to participate.

Question 5: What should be the duration of the Idea Submission video in Phase 1?

Answer: : The Idea Submission video should be maximum 120 seconds long.

Question 6: How to join the online orientation sessions?

Answer: The online orientation is divided into 2 parts – 2 sessions of 2 hours each. You will receive the online orientation session details such as Session Title, Date, Time, Link to join from your assigned teacher for the program.
