Characteristic
- This scheme is only available to the applicant bride for her first marriage.
- To be eligible for this scheme, both the bride and groom must have completed the HSLC/CBSE or equivalent examination.
- However, if the bride and groom are from the Tea Tribe or Adivasi Community, they do not need an educational certificate.

- At the time of marriage registration, both the bride and groom must have reached the legal age of 18 and 21, respectively.
- To be eligible for Assam Arundhati Gold Scheme benefits, the applicant’s marriage must be registered under the Special Marriage Act of 1954.
- The applicant must have married on or after December 1, 2019. The applicant’s marriage must have been registered on or after January 1, 2020.

- The applicant girl’s parents’ total annual income from all sources must not exceed Rs. 5 lakh per year.

- In the case of non-SC/ST and non-Tea Tribe communities, both the bride and groom must have completed HSLC or equivalent. For the next five years, either the bride or groom must have completed the 10th grade or its equivalent in the case of SC/ST communities.
