AP GO 29 Housing Department Permission to Constitute Working Group to monitor and implementation of Housing Scheme –Orders – Issued. Housing Programme for EWS and LIG in both Rural and Urban areas and also to provide housing to Industrial workers, teachers, Employees, etc. Policy and Implementation Strategy for Industrial Housing Townships and to monitor the implementation and to coordinate with other Industrial estates in the State.

1.1 The Government after careful consideration, hereby constitute the Working Group with the following:

O R D E R:-


1. The Government has decided to undertake a massive Housing Programme for EWS and LIG in both Rural and Urban areas and also to provide housing to Industrial workers, teachers, Employees, etc., to a tune of 20.00 lakh in the coming years, since the construction sector enable to achieve the double digit Growth (GDP) in large scale employment opportunities in the State.

2. During the meeting held by the Chief Secretary to Government with the representatives of CREDAI and builders from various parts of the State, it is opined that the Government alone cannot meet the demand of Housing and the participation of private sector is also necessary. Therefore, it is important to form certain Working Groups which will help and guide the HousingDepartment for undertaking the activities at field level. . In this context, Mr. Srini Raju, Sri City has come forward to take up 4000 houses in Sri City as initial pilot project. The details for the same are being worked out.

3. To work out the detailed Policy and Implementation Strategy for Industrial Housing Townships and to monitor the implementation and to coordinate with other Industrial estates in the State, it is proposed to create a Working Group headed by Mr. Srini Raju, Sri City as Chairman.

The Government after careful consideration, hereby constitute the Working Group with the following:
