TS CPGET Notification 2024 – Apply for TS Common PG Entrance Test 2024: TS CPGET Online Apply 2024  Telangana State has given an admission notification for the first year PG Courses. Admission is done through a common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TS CPGET). TS CPGET Examination is a common post graduate entrance test to get admission into different post graduate courses in the Telangana State. Candidates who want to get admission in the colleges affiliated under Telangana State need to attend for an entrance test conducted by Telangana State. Officially notification was released by Osmania University. Entrance test will be tentatively conducted in the second or third week of September 2024.

TS CPGET Examination is conducted for admission into Post Graduate Courses like M.A, M.Sc, M.Com and five year integrated programmes like M.A, M.Sc and MBA offered by Osmania University, Kakatiya University, JNTU Hyderabad, Satavahana Universities.

Candidates who completed the respective qualification or who are pursuing final year examination are also eligible to took part in this admission process. But the candidates need to produce their certificate of qualifying the prescribed qualification after joining the admission. By attending the TS CPGET examination, candidates will get admission for PG, PG Diploma courses across the Telangana State.

TS CPGET Examination 2024 Details:

• TS CPGET is the only examination to get admission into PG Degree, Diploma courses in seven universities.
• Candidates who are seeking admission in Post Graduate courses can get admission by qualifying the entrance test.
• Candidates can secure admission through the single entrance test
• Government has taken an initiative to get admission in Seven Universities through a single common entrance test (TS CPGET)
• TS CPGET Process was commenced in the year 2019.
• This year, the management responsibility was entrusted to Osmania University

Features of TS CPGET Examination:

One-time readiness is sufficient: TS CPGET Examination 2024 is a computer based test. The Entrance Test will be conducted online through Computer Based Test (CBT). There is a multiple-choice questions system in this test. Students will no longer have to prepare for the entrance exams of the respective universities due to the CPGET.

In order to get admission in the Universities, candidates need to follow the respective procedures of the concerned Universities. But due to the common entrance test syllabus will be same to crack a good score for getting admission in any of the seven Universities.

Benefits for Rural Students: Conducting a single common entrance test for PG admissions in colleges under the two universities can benefit to rural students. Students will definitely increase their choice of awareness in all the courses. There will no cost burden among the rural students who are financially week to apply for admission process.

The academic year will be on the same calendar: Because of conducting a single entrance test for all the universities, the academic calendar of the colleges will be same for all the Seven Universities.

Registration fee of TS CPGET Examination 2024:

General category candidates need to pay Rs. 800/-, Rs. 600/- for reserved category candidates. Fee must be payable through online mode.

Eligibility for TS CPGET Examination 2024

• Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree with a single subject in open/distance mode of education are not eligible for P.G. Courses.
• Candidates qualified in CPGET-2021 are eligible for admissions into Campus, Constituent and Affiliated Colleges of Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities.
• B.Com candidates are not eligible for M.A. Economics.
• For M.A languages courses, Degrees like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharm. etc are not eligible.
• The candidates with other than B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. qualification like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharmacy, LLB (5 yrs), B.C.A., etc. must go through the eligibility conditions before applying to ensure their eligibility.
• B.Pharm. / B.Sc.(MLT) / B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Home Science) / B.Tech. / B.E. Graduates are not eligible for M.Sc. Courses. However, B.E./B.Tech graduates are eligible for M.Sc. (Geo Informatics).
• B.E., & B.Tech, etc; candidates are not eligible for M.Sc. Computer Science and M.Sc. Mathematics.

• TS CPGET Examination is a state-level Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2024 are being conducted by Osmania University.

• No personal intimation in this regard will be sent to the candidates either by post or by mail.
• The candidates have to attend for TS CPGET Certificate Verification at various centres prescribed by the authority
