Tirumala 2023
Venkateswara Temple is a prominent Vaishnavite temple in Tirumala, Tirupati, in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Sri Venkateswara, a Vishnu incarnation who is said to have appeared here to save mankind from the trials and tribulations of the Kali Yuga. As a result, the place is also known as Kaliyuga Vaikuntham, and the Lord here is known as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. Tirumala Temple, Tirupati Temple, and Tirupati Balaji Temple are some of the other names for the temple. Lord Venkateswara also is recognised as Balaji, Govinda, and Srinivasa.
About Tirumala Hills Temple
The Seshachalam Hills range includes the Tirumala Hills. The mountains rise 853 metres (2,799 feet) above sea level. The Hills are made up of seven peaks, which represent Adisesha’s seven heads. The temple is located on the southern banks of Sri Swami Pushkarini, a holy water tank, on the seventh peak – Venkatadri. As a result, the temple is also known as the “Temple of Seven Hills“. Tirumala is approximately 10.33 square miles (26.75 kilometres) in size.
The Temple is built in Dravidian style and is thought to have been built over a period of time beginning in 300 AD. AnandaNilayam is the title given to the Garbagriha (Sanctum Sanctorum). Venkateswara, the presiding deity, is standing and facing east in Garbha griha. The temple practises Vaikhanasa Agama worship. The temple is one of the eight Vishnu Swayambhu Kshetras and the 106th and final earthly Divya Desam. The Temple grounds included two modern queue complex buildings for organising the pilgrim rush, Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam complex for providing free meals to pilgrims, hair tonsure buildings, and a number of pilgrim lodging sites.
Tickets for the Beginning Break Darshan can be obtained through recommendation letters.
Per letter, a maximum of six people are permitted.
Recommendation letter and Aadhar Card photocopies must be submitted to the JEO camp office before 12 p.m.
A confirmation message will be delivered to the registered mobile phone number.
After receiving the confirmation SMS, tickets can be purchased from the MBC 34 counter by paying the ticket cost of Rs.500 per person.
The devotee should report to Vaikuntam-I or ATC car parking as specified on the ticket.
The VIP First Break Darshan will begin at 6.30 a.m.
The devotee can have Darshan from the third door, and the Darshan line is moving.
