About Vidyadhan Scholarship

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview. Currently Vidyadhan program has around 8000 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladhak, Bihar, Jarkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Those selected will be eligible for two year scholarship from the Foundation. If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest; These Scholarships are Directly Through the foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration etc. The selected students will be required to attend the mentoring programs from the Foundation.

Students can apply free of cost on the website direclty. No other person or institutions have been authorized to select students on our behalf.

Andhra Pradesh Intermediate (1st year) Program 2024

Scholarship amounts for 11th and 12th grades will be a maximum of Rs. 10,000/- year

Who Can Apply?

Students from Andhra Pradesh who have finished their 10th grade or SSC test in 2024 and whose family’s annual income is less than Rs. 2 lakh. Additionally, they had to have received a 9 CGPA or 90% on their 10th grade or SSC exam. For pupils with disabilities, 75% is the threshold score. or 7.5 CGPA

Selection Process

Based on their academic standing and the data they provide on the application, SDF will select a short list of candidates. A brief online test and interview will be extended to the selected candidates. Students can immediately apply on the internet for free. We have not given anyone else or any organisation permission to choose pupils on our behalf.

Important Dates:

• 7th June 2024: Application last date
• 23rd June 2024: Screening Test
• 7th July to 20th July 2024: Interview/Tests will be scheduled during this time frame. Exact date and location will be intimated to each of the shortlisted candidates.

Required Documents

• Scanned copies of the following are required
  1. 10th Marksheet   (If original marksheet is not available , you can upload provisional /online marksheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website.)
  2. Photograph
  3. Income Certificate   (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted.)

How to Apply Vidyadhan Scholarship : AP Vidyadhan Scholarship Program Notification

• To Apply online, you must have a personal Email Account. Since the Registered Email Address will be Used for all Future Contacts, DO NOT USE THE EMAIL ID of the cyber café or DTP centre.
• Please register for a new account on www.gmail.com or with any other email service provider if you do not currently have one. Kindly commit the email login and password to memory for your convenience.
• When creating a new account, you will be required to provide information such as:
  →  First Name: In accordance with your academic records, please provide your first name.
  → Last Name: Kindly include your last name as it appears on your academic transcripts.

• Email ID: Kindly provide your email address, and remember to check this account frequently for our notifications. Use the email address to log in later.
• Vidyadhan Password: For the user name you created above, please select a strong password. There should be a minimum of 8 characters in the password.
• The password you created for your email address is different from this one. The email address and vidyadhan password you created must be used the next time you log into the vidyadhan programme.
• Please keep it in mind; for security purposes, do not write it down elsewhere. Click “Forgot Password” to get your password back if you forget it.
• Select the “Apply Now” option. You will receive an email with an activation link for your account.
• Please access the account activation email by opening your email in a new window. Select the activation link that was sent to you via email. In order to continue, you will get a notification on the home page stating that your account has been activated and a login form.
• Please sign in using the email address and password that you supplied when creating a new account in Step 2 above.
• There is a “Help” link on the main menu once you log in. To view guidance and instructions for Establishing, Maintaining, and monitoring an Application, Click that link.
• To create your Application, please choose the relevant scholarship programme from the list of available programmes and click the “Apply Now” option.
• By selecting Edit Application at the top of the Application, you can make modifications to the application after it has been created.
• You will receive the Notification “Submission Successful” after Completing the Application and Submitting it. Please be Aware, Though, that the Application won’t be Deemed Complete unless the Required Files and photo are uploaded.
• Please Periodically Check your Email for SDF Communications and Updates.
