AP G.O.MS.NO:309,GODAVARI PUSHKARAMS, 2015 – Closure of Private / Government Educational Institutions In East and West Godavari Districts

1. The Collector & District Magistrate, East Godavari District, in his letter read above has requested the Government to issue necessary orders for closure of Private / Government Educational Institutions situated in the limits of Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation, Rajahmundry(Rural) and in all Villages where pushkaram ghats are existing and all the schools which are requisitioned for parking places. This is required for making prior arrangements during the ensuing Godavari Pushkarams in East Godavari District for utilization by Pilgrims for the period from 14-07-2015 to 25-07-2015 (12 days), as per orders issued in previous Pushkarams of 2003.
2. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby direct that the Educational Institutions to the extent necessary may be closed down from 14-07-2015 to 25-07-2015 by the respective District Collectors where the Godavari Maha Pushkarams, 2015 take place, by specially mentioning the names of the Polytechnic Colleges / Degree Colleges etc. The Government also direct that these Educational Institutions should make up the working days lost, by compensating in subsequent months, and this shall be monitored regularly by the Heads of the Departments concerned.
3. The District Collectors and the Heads of Departments concerned are requested to ensure strict compliance of the above orders
