ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, Government has issued guidelines for implementation of “THALLIKI VANDANAM” scheme, a key initiative, designed to empower mothers/guardians across the State, by extending financial
assistance of Rs.15,000/- per annum per child to every eligible mother/guardian, regardless of the number of children for sending their children to Schools from Classes I to XII (including Intermediate Education)
in all recognized Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided schools/ Jr. Colleges including Residential Schools / Junior Colleges in the State from the Academic year 2025-26.

2. This scheme focuses on making school education more accessible and inclusive, with a commitment to provide equal opportunities and improve learning outcomes. The Scheme empowers the mothers to actively involve in their children’s schooling from Class I through Class XII (including Intermediate), while recognising their pivotal role in shaping educational progress. By fostering this engagement, the scheme aims to boost student enrolment and lay the groundwork for long-term social and economic advancement across the State.
3. Accordingly, based on the verificataion of the beneficiaries by the GSWS Department, the Director of School Education, in the reference 2nd read above, has furnished the list of eligible beneficiaries and requested the Government, to accord permission to him to launch the “THALLIKI VANDANAM” Scheme
- CM Chandrababu Naidu will officially start the plan on June 12, 2025.
- ₹8,745 crore has been cleared and allocated for the first phase.
- The mother will receive an annual bonus of ₹15,000 per kid, credited to her bank account.
- The initiative is one of the TDP’s “Super Six” pledges, which will be implemented within a year of taking office.
- Children who enrol in Class 1 and Intermediate 1st Year in 2025 will also be eligible.
- All students in recognised institutions from Grades 1 through 12 (including Inter 1st and 2nd years) are covered.
- The mother or legal guardian is the principal recipient of the funds.
- ₹2,000 of the ₹15,000 cash will be removed and used for school development, maintenance, and
- sanitation through District Collector accounts.

Admissions into 1st Class & Junior Intermediate:
- The expected eligible enrollments in Class-I and Jr. Intermediate will be considered for financial assistance after completion of enrollment process for the A.Y 2025-26. AP Thalliki vandanam Sheme Eligibility list.
GSWS Department shall establish a robust online grievance redressal mechanism with dashboards to ensure that all grievances are redressed in a transparent and time bound manner as per the following time lines:
