The government of Telangana provides various of the type of Scholarships to the weaker section of the states. The two popular scholarship schemes that we have discussed in this article are-
Pre Metric Scholarship– Through this scholarship, ePass provides financial assistance to the students of class X (SSC) and below studying in the schools of Telangana.
Post Metric Scholarship– This scheme is for providing benefit to the eligible students above class X (SSC)
Eligibility criteria
Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state
Applicants should belongs to the SC/ ST/ BC/ EBC/ Minority category
Annual family income is must not more than Rs.2 Lakh for SC/ ST Category and Rs.1.50
Physically challenged students may also apply whose family income is below or equal to Rs.1 lakh
75% attendance in each quarter is must to apply for the scholarship.
Ts ePass Scholarship Ineligibility
Below mentioned student are not eligible to receive Ts e-Pass scholarship 2020:-Those 1.students who belong to any other category than disabled, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, backward class, economically backward class.
2.The students belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category whose family income is more than 2 lakh rupees.
3.All those backward class, economic backward class and minority student who are living in rural areas having family annual income more than Rs 150000
4.Students of backward class, economic backward class and disabled studying in courses offered by open universities, distance mode, category B seat in MBBS, BDS
5.Backward class, economically backward class students and minorities students living in urban areas having family annual income more than 2 lakh rupees
6.All those students who are disabled and having family income more than 100000 rupees
7.Students pursuing part-time courses and online courses
8.All those students who were admitted under sponsored seat on management quota seat
