Kapu Corporation Vidyonnathi Scheme Notification
Eligibiligy of AP Kapu Corporation Vidyonnathi Scheme:
1. The applicant should belong to Kapu, Balija, Telaga and Ontari communities 2. The annual family income shall not exceed Rs. 6.00 lakhs 3. Age: Eligibility for examination shall be as per UPSC Prelims Notification guidelines. 4. He/ She should be 20 years or more (or) 31 years or less by 1st of August 2016. 5. For disability candidates He/ She should be 20 years or more (or) 41 year or less by 1st of August 2016. 6. The applicant should not have availed himself or herself of any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have passed any Degree course.
EXAMINATION CENTRES:
The entrance examination shall be conducted at Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vijayawada,Ongole, Tirupati, Anantapur and Kadapa.
Candidates have to give their order of preference for the Centres in the application form. However, candidates may note that they may be allotted to any one of the centres mentioned above depending on the number of candidates opting for the centre.
NUMBER OF SEATS AVAILABLE FOR THE COACHING PROGRAMME:
500 students from Kapu, Telaga, Balija and Ontari communities will be selected through Entrance Examination in the State and will be sponsored to the Reputed Empanelled Institutes in the Country.
33% of the awards shall be earmarked for Women candidates (if adequate number of eligible women candidates are not available then Male candidates may be selected against this 33%).
3% of the awards shall be earmarked for Specially Abled Candidates (if adequate numbers of eligible Specially Abled candidates are not available then other eligible candidates may be selected against this 3%).
A waiting list of 10% of total number of candidates will be maintained.
The provisionally selected candidates including waitlisted candidates original certificates will be verified by the corporation APSKWDCL before declaring final select list.
If the candidates fails to produce the original certificates or if they are found ineligible as per the guidelines of the scheme, during certificates verification process, their provisional selection will be cancelled.
