How To Apply Srikakulam/ Ongole IIIT Admission :

Students Can apply to AP RGUKTN IIIT Srikakulam/ Ongole Admissions 2018 through online at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies apply through AP Online services only at http://www.rguktn.ac.in/

Eligibility for Admission New IIIT :

a) Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and conducted in 2016.

b) Candidates should not have completed 18 years of age as on 31.12.2018, (21 years incase of students belonging to SC and ST categories).

c) International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders

IIIT Application Fee:

Rs. 200.00 (for OC and BC candidates) Rs. 150.00 (for SC and ST candidates)

Selection Process for IIIT Admission:

1. Admissions will be based on merit in the 10th class Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject and by following the statutory reservations of the State.

2. A deprivation score of 0.4, as prescribed by the Government will be added to the 10th class GPA of the applicants from non­residential Government Schools including Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools.

In case of a tie in GPA score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:

i. Higher grade in Mathematics,
ii. Higher grade in General Science,
iii. Higher grade in English,
iv. Higher grade in Social Studies,
v. Higher grade in 1st Language,
vi. Older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
vii. Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.

3. Admissions to 85% of the total available seats will be reserved for ‘Local Candidates’ (Andhra Pardesh State) and the remaining 15% of the seats are ‘unreserved’ and filled by the students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.

4. Students belonging to States other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students are eligible for admission in supernumerary seats.

Requirement Certificates or Forms :

i. The receipt issued by the AP Online services
ii. Hall Ticket of X standard (10th Class)
iii. GPA of 10th class Public Examination, i.e., SSC/CBSE/ICSE/NIOS.
iv. Study certificates from 4th to 10th class / Residence certificate by those claiming Local category (AU), v. Residence certificate / service certificate of parents by those claiming Non-Local category
vi. Proof of caste / community certificate (SC/ST/BC) in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under any of these categories,
vii. Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category,
viii. Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category,
ix. NCC, Sports and games certificates by those claiming reservation under this category
