HIGHLIGHTS OF POLYCET-2025

•  Date of Examination: 30 -04-2025
• Offline Test will be entirely of objective type, consists of 120 questions with a choice of Four responses for each question with only one correct response (50 Questions in Mathematics, 40 Questions in Physics & 30 Questions in Chemistry) Each question carries one mark and no negative marking for wrong answer.
• Examination will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration consists of only one Question paper as per the syllabus prescribed for SSC examination March’ 2025.
• Candidates shall have to mark answers on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet.
•  Questions are framed to test the ability of the candidate in recall / application / analysis & synthesis.

The eligibility criteria for AP PolyCET is as follows:

1. Nationality: The candidate must be of Indian nationality.
2. Age: There is no age limit for appearing in the AP PolyCET exam.
3. Educational Qualification:
   • The candidate should have passed the 10th class or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
   • The minimum percentage of marks required is 35%.
   • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.
4. Domicile: The candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.

Note: Candidates who have passed 10th class from other states can also apply but they will be considered only for the supernumerary seats in the polytechnic colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
