Eligibility Criteria for the YSR Law Nestham Scheme
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in law.
Section 17 of the Advocates Act 1961 requires that the lawyer’s name be entered in the rolls of advocates maintained by the Andhra Pradesh State Bar Council.
Only law graduates who graduated in 2016 and later are eligible to participate in this scheme.
The applicant’s age should be less than 35 years.
The advocate should also provide an undertaking that if they leave the profession or become gainfully employed, they will notify the online or registering authority.
After joining the state bar association, advocates must obtain a certificate of practise by passing the bar examination administered by the Bar Council of India within two years.
Every six months, junior advocates must submit an affidavit attested by a senior advocate with 15 years of experience, the presiding officer of the court, or the state bar association stating that they are still in active practise.
This stipend is available to all junior attorneys who have begun practise but have not completed the first three years of their careers. The first three years of practise will be counted beginning with the date of issuance of the certificate of enrolment under Section 22 of the Advocates Act of 1961.

Affidavit certificate : The lawyer must have a suitable affidavit certificate after a six-year gap in order for the scheme to be registered smoothly.
