Eligibility Requirements

Procedure for UPTET 2023 Selection
Candidates will be chosen initially based on their performance in the eligibility test. The school/institution to which candidates have applied will make the final decision on their selection.
Those who pass the exam will be given the UPTET eligibility certificate. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 60% (55% reserved category) in the exam to be eligible for the exam. The eligibility certificate will be valid for 5 years, and the Candidate can apply for a job based on it during that time.
Candidates can obtain certificates from the district’s relevant department. They must understand that simply receiving the certificate will not guarantee them a job. The final appointment in the position of teacher will be based on the school/Recruitment board’s policy.
Candidates who do not pass the exam may reapply as there is no limit on the number of attempts.
