Steps to Fill Out KARTET Application Form 2024

The Karnataka School Education Department’s official website has launched the KARTET Application Form 2024. The competent authorities have begun accepting online registrations for both Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who qualify for the fundamental requirements prescribed for both papers can fill out the KARTET Online Form 2024.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the School Education Department, Karnataka.

Step 2: Click the KARTET Application Form 2024 link on the homepage.

Step 3: Now, complete the KARTET 2024 Registration form and fill in the details as given on the portal.

Step 4: Generate the login Credentials and use the Same to login to the official portal

Step 5: Fill in all the Details, such as the Candidate’s Details, Educational Details, Exam Centre, Category, and so on, as instructed.

Step 6: Upload the Documents on the Dashboard, including the Candidate’s signature and photograph, in the prescribed Format.

Step 7: Finally, pay the KARTET Application Fee and save it on the Dashboard for future Reference.

KARTET Paper 1 consists of 5 sections, namely Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each section contains 30 questions, with a total of 150 questions and a maximum score of 150 marks

KARTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 eligibility conditions for Paper I and II in terms of educational qualification and age restriction are as follows.

Educational Qualification:

Paper I: One must have finished Intermediate (Class 12), often known as the second PUC, with a minimum Aggregate of 50%. Additionally, Candidates must have a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognised institution.
Paper II: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a Minimum Aggregate of 50%. Furthermore, Candidates Must have Earned a Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a two-year Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed) from a Recognised institution.

Age Limit:

Paper I: The candidate should be between the ages of 18 and 40.
Paper II: Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 40.
