Eligibility Criteria of JKSSB Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute

Age Limit:

Candidates age should be maximum 40 years as on 01-01-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Age is relaxable for reserved candidates as follows:

  • OM – 40 years
  • SC – 43 years
  • ST – 43 years
  • RBA – 43 years
  • ALC/IB – 43 years
  • EWS(Economically Weaker Section) – 43 years
  • PSP (Pahari Speaking People) – 43 years
  • Social Caste- 43 years
  • Physically Challenged Person – 42 years
  • Ex-Servicemen – 48 years
  • Government Service/Contractual Employment – 40 years

Pay Scale for Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2022:

Selected candidates will get pay on an average of around Rs. 35,900 – 1,13,500/- PM by the recruiting organization.

Application fee for JKSSB Recruitment 2022:

General category candidates must pay the fee of Rs. 500/-, Rs. 400/- for reserved category candidates. Fee must be payable through online mode.

Selection Process for JKSSB  Recruitment 2022:

Selection to the posts of Panchayat Secretary is completely based on their performance in the written test and interview.

Important points regarding Screening Test:

  • All the candidates who had applied for Panchayat secretary need to attend for certificate verification procedure.
  • Shortlisted candidates in the application process will be called for Certificate verification process.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for participation in the written test/ document verification
  • Candidates will be shortlisted to interview based on their academic merit
  • Information about the Examination indicating the Time Table and City/ Centre of Examination for the candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the Board about two weeks before the date of examination
  • The Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only except for items mentioned otherwise in the relevant column of Annexure ‘A’ to this notification.
  • The questions will be set in English only. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
  • Candidates will get admit card one week prior to the examination through online mode.
  • Final merit list is prepared based on their performance in the academic merit
  • If two or more candidates will secure same marks in the Interview. Then their shortlisting will depends upon the seniority of date of birth of both the candidates.
  • Candidates need to carry all kinds of certificates in proof of age, educational qualification for attending the interview.

  • PWD Certificate if any
  • NOC Certificate from the current employer
  • Aadhar card
