Candidates must complete 12th Class from a recognized Institute
Candidates should have minimum typing knowledge in both Hindi and English language
Candidates should complete Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ Institute.
Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit Language up to Matric standard is required.
Age Limit:
Candidates age must be in between 17 to 42 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Age should be reckoned as on 01-01-2022
Salary:
Selected candidates will get pay on an average of about Rs. 25,500 – 53,000/- by the recruiting organization

Important points regarding Selection test:
All the candidates who had applied for the posts under Common Recruitment Test must attend for Written test as shortlisting process

Candidates will receive hall tickets 15 days prior to the examination.
Final merit list is prepared based on their performance in the written test and interview.

General Awareness:
Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment and its relevance to the society. The questions will also be designed to test knowledge of the current events and of such matters of everyday observation as may be expected of an examinee appearing for the test. The test will include questions relating to India and neighboring countries, especially pertaining to History, Indian Polity & Constitution, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Policy, National/International Organizations /Institutions, Environment, Globalization, Climate, Events, General Science, Computer literacy etc.
Reasoning:
The syllabus includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Test may include questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic Number Analgoy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Observation, relationship, concepts, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic, Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern folding and completion, number series, Embedded figures, Figural series, critical thinking, problem solving, emotional intelligence, arithmetical number series, arithmetical reasoning, Word building, Social intelligence, Coding and decoding, other sub-topics etc.
Quantitative Ability:
The test will cover Number System including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, Relationship between numbers. L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, roots, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Partnership business, Mixture and Allegation Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, Trigonometry, basic Algebra, Geometry etc.

About Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC)
Haryana Staff Selection Commission (earlier Subordinate Services Selection Board) is constituted as per the proviso of Article 309 of constitution of India, vide Haryana Government Notification No.523-3GS-70/2068, dated 28.01.1970. Through it was granted statutory status of Haryana Staff Selection Commission vide Haryana Govt. Gazette Notification dated 28.02.2005.
The Commission conducts examinations for appointments to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services and may be called up on to conduct examination for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the state Government.
