Eligibility Criteria for APTET Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification:

AP TET Paper-I (Classes 1 to 5)

Candidates who are possessing respective Teacher Education Certificates or in their final year of respective Teacher Education Courses in 2016-2017 or earlier: Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% (for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled applicants, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education)  (or)

Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks (for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40 percent) & pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in the case of candidates who have passed or been admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to the issue of these guidelines.

APTET Paper-II (Classes 6 to 8)

Candidates who already have Respective Teacher Education Certificates or are in their last year of Respective Teacher Education in 2016-2017 or earlier (or)

B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com. with at least 50% marks (45 percent for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled applicants). & pass the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/ Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course/ Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course/ Bachelor of Education (B.E (B.Ed -Special Education)

(or)

B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com. with a minimum of 50% (for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks should be 40%). & pass a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course/ Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) course in the case of candidates who passed or were admitted to a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course previous to the publication of these guidelines.

Candidates to the posts under APTET Examination will be selected based on their performance in the written competitive examination and interview.
