AP Residential Schools (APRS) had given an admission notification regarding filling up of vacancies of 5th Class seats. Seats will be allotted to students on automated random selection i.e. lottery basis. Selected candidates for admission will be announced on 10th June 2022 and allot the candidates to the concerned schools. A total of 80 seats will be filled in the schools except Chittoor District and Kurnool District.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh and belongs to Indian Nationality.
During the year 2021-2022 candidates must be studying 4th class in a Government School or in a school recognized by Government of AP.
Candidates should have studied in the same district for two consecutive years
The candidate should have studied continuously in the respective district for the two academic years (2020-2021) and (2021-2022) ( 3rd Class & 4th Class) in a Government school or in a school recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Age Limit:
OC and BC students should have born 01-09-2011 to 31-08-2013. SC and ST Candidates should have born in between 01-09-2009 to 31-08-2013.
Income Limit:
The Parental income for the year 2021-2022 should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of students will be through automated random system (i.e. through lottery system)
Lottery Centres should be District Headquarters
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay fee of Rs. 50/- towards application processing fee. Fee should be payable through online mode (NET Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit card)
