Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC) is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of teachers in government schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The eligibility Details for AP DSC are as Follows:
- Age Limit: The candidate’s minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 44 years. However, Relaxation in Age limit is Provided for reserved categories as per government rules.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed their Graduation/Post Graduation and B.Ed degree from a recognized university or institution. Additionally, candidates who have completed their D.Ed or Language Pandit Training (LPT) are also eligible to apply.
- AP DSC Exam: The candidate must have cleared the AP DSC Exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Government to be eligible for the selection process.
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India and must have a domicile certificate of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The written examination consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1 is for candidates applying for the posts of School Assistants, Language Pandits, and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) while Paper 2 is for candidates applying for the posts of Physical Education Teachers (PET), School Assistants (Non-Language), and Music, Craft, Art & Drawing Teachers.
